What can I study at UF3?

Incoming students can select courses from different UF3 programs and Schools. Students may also combine Spanish-taught and English-taught courses during the same exchange semester.

International Studies Diploma
Experience Spain. Understand Spain
Through its Diploma in International Studies, CEU UF3 invites international students to enrich their exchange experience by exploring Spain’s language, culture, history and institutions.
The Diploma offers the following courses (all taught in English):
- Spanish Language for Beginners (6 ECTS)
- Spanish Culture (6 ECTS)
- The Spanish Political System: Institutions and Contemporary Politics (6 ECTS)
- History of Spain in Europe, America and the World (6 ECTS)
You can freely choose individual courses from the Diploma to complement your regular exchange studies, or complete all of them to also earn the Diploma in International Studies. Whichever option you choose, you will gain a deeper understanding of the country you will call home during your stay.
How to become an incoming student
Check with your home university
Confirm that your university has an exchange agreement with Universidad CEU Fernando III and that you are eligible to participate.
Get nominated
All incoming exchange students must first be nominated by the International or Student Exchange Office of their home university.

Study Abroad – Visiting Student Program
If you are a student at a foreign university in a country not associated with the Erasmus+ Programme but which possesses an agreement with CEU UF3, you can come and study for a semester or a full academic year with us without requiring an official transfer. Upon completion, you will receive an official certificate with your grades. This international mobility programme aims to provide an international academic experience to students who wish to study temporarily at CEU UF3.
Free Movers
If your university is in a country associated with the Erasmus+ Programme and it does not have an agreement with CEU, you can also study with us on a temporary basis. You just need to meet the academic and language requirements. You choose from the courses included in the Free Mover Programme, and we will support you throughout your stay.
