External academic staff at CEU Universities
To promote scientific and academic collaboration with prestigious researchers from Spain and across the world, and to strengthening our priority research areas, the Universidad CEU Fernando III has established a procedure for lecturers and researchers from other institutions to undertake a research visit at the University.
This is aimed at lecturers, researchers and experts from universities, research institutions, international organizations and other bodies that carry out work in fields related to the research areas at CEU UF3.
Visiting researchers must carry out the activities for which they request or accept a research visit to the University and to respect the official start and end dates of the visit. Furthermore, during their visit, they must agree to observe the University's regulations as they apply to them. The fact of undertaking a research visit to the University does not constitute an employment relationship of any kind with the University.
Visiting researchers are responsible for covering their personal expenses, including travel, accommodation, meals, and medical and accident insurance, and for obtaining a visa, if required, to carry out the visit to the University.
To apply for a visit to the University
Researchers from external institutions interested in carrying out a research visit to the Universidad CEU Fernando III should contact the CEU researcher who will host them to request an invitation letter. This person will then process this request by filling in the form to request an official invitation letter (solicitud de carta de invitación). This form is available on the University intranet.
